Second-hand Shops in Cork City

May 8, 2009

There are many second-hand shops in Cork City, most of which focus on clothing but a few carry household items as well. By last count, I encountered about one dozen. All the shops listed are Irish charity shops, selling donated items to raise funds for their respective causes EXCEPT for Chambers Stitch or Switch Shop, which buys and sells as a business

I will add more details (such as what they each carry, hours, tel #) as I collect them, but wanted to get the list out there for you to enjoy.

Thank you! I’m visiting Ireland for the first time — will be there later this week from Texas. My dream vacation would be to rummage through thrift stores (charity shops)!

I know nothing about Cork but may have to put it on my list just because of your webpage! : )

    Thank you for posting!
