Address Book

1

In addition to the information in my Where To Find posts, all addresses of yarn stores, favorite restaurants, and such from my life in Cork City and from my travels are listed here for your convenience.

Living in Cork has given us the opportunity to visit many countries in Europe for weekend trips or longer stays and in our previous home in California we traveled around the United States quite a bit. As a result, we have lots of adventures and this seems like as good a place to share them as any. Realizing that listening to someone else’s vacation stories can be dull, we try to keep to the useful stuff and compose the posts in itinerary or list format. Don’t worry, no three-hour slide show will ensue, but if you do want to see photos from Cork and Europe, check out my Flickr collection. At the bottom of this page, you will find links to travel-related blogs and resources we find useful and entertaining.

    Hi Evin

Just reading your blog on the way down to Cork – nice work!!
From what I can see you haven’t been to Fellini Cafe on Carey’s Lane..
This cafe has been in business since the early 90’s and occupies part of the original Pavilion Cinema which opened in 1921. In fact, the original ceiling can still be seen in Fellinis.

Having lived in Dublin for 8 years I can safely say that this is something Cork has, which does not exist in Dublin – the place is confluence of art, coffee and good food. Lunch, brunch or afternoon cakes are available – with much of the produce sourced locally.
I won’t say anymore..I’ll let you see for yourself.

Enough about me. What are you thinking?
