Two years ago, Monopoly Cork Board Game was launched to much fanfare and excitement – at least in our house.
It all started before the game’s release, when I was asked if I would contribute a few photos to the board game. Mind you, this was all a few years ago, but with Christmas coming I wanted to share the excitement of what it was like to open the box the first time and show you what the game looks like.
The lighting isn’t ideal for these photos, but the board is the same quality and standard of classic Monopoly boards.
So, which photos are mine? Well, I’ll let you guess.
I was secretly hoping there would be a stick of butter or a replica of Shandon for custom game pieces, but that isn’t the case. Which makes sense, but a girl can still dream, right?
The Community Chest cards are written specifically with Cork in mind.
A brilliant creation and fun for Corkonians, visitors, and expat Leesiders alike. Monopoly Cork Board Game is available from Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com, local bookstores, and select toy stores.
