You’ve probably noticed my content has gone from oversharing to a drizzle in 2015 and I wanted to explain that it is for a very happy reason… I got a day job as Content Marketing Executive for Teamwork.com. To say this is my dream job kinda sums up everything about the experience so far (3.5 months, so far). I correct my colleagues’ grammar, proofread anything that crosses my desk, and research/write for the Teamwork.com blog along with my amazing team. As I settled into the new role, my posts on here and on EvinOK.com were purposefully decreased so I wouldn’t spread myself too thin. It worked and after fewer posts the past few months I’m back at the helm to kick off some really great series of posts and new content. Of course, on days when you miss new content, you can read the old or check out what I’m doing on Instagram or Twitter or even Pinterest (which is mostly me pinning fashion, woolly crafts, and things I’d do to a house if I had one).
Now, I’ll leave you with a proper explanation of what a Yankee is. Because not all Americans are Yankees. This clarification of the term “Yankee” comes from one of my favorite E. B. White quotes:
To foreigners, a Yankee is an American.
To Americans, a Yankee is a Northerner*.
To Northerners, a Yankee is an Easterner.
To Easterners, a Yankee is a New Englander.
To New Englanders, a Yankee is a Vermonter.
And in Vermont, a Yankee is somebody who eats pie for breakfast.
* a Northerner is someone from north of the Mason-Dixon Line.
