Mountain Man Brewing Company pairs up with Annie’s for Tasting Menu Dinner

It’s no secret, I love food. A little too much. And I love supporting local artisan food producers, craft brewers, and artists, so it’s a no-brainer that I’m jumping for joy that this coming Friday Mountain Man Brewing Company is teaming up with Annie’s Gastropub for a special dinner!

There is a lovely five-course tasting menu (count ’em 5 courses!!!!) matched with tasters from Cork’s own Mountain Man Brewing Company. Gather at 6.30pm for a 7 O’Clock kick-off. Price is 35€ per person, with options for the designated drivers. Call now on +353 (21) 439 8384 to book your seat.

HotPress actually has a brief yet accurate review of Mountain Man beer, so read it so you can start anticipating the dinner.

You can see Mountain Man’s Hairy Goat included in this video round-up of Irish beers (1:39–2:29), which I filmed with Michael of Bradley’s Off-Licence. Mountain Man beer epitomises the phrase “Drink Local” and on Friday (25 July) you can Eat Local too with a special meal at one of the best gastropubs in Cork, Annie’s. Annie’s is located at 89 Sunday’s Well Road, Sunday’s Well, Cork City. Easily accessible by taxi so you can enjoy your beer responsibly and fully. Here is the event on Beoir.org.

In full disclosure, I know Mountain Man himself and have been a fan of the brewery since its early days. But his beers are amazing to be paired with food, which isn’t always the case for beer since some have strong presences.
