Kinsale Arts Week – Knitting with Stitch n Bitch Cork City

Knitting with ‘Stitch n’ Bitch’ Cork City as part of Kinsale Arts Week

Sunday, 19 July, 2009

12 Noon – 5pm

Temperance Hall
Ages 7 + Materials and knitting needles supplied (although you are welcome to bring your own) Free but donations welcome

A selection of hand-made items will be available for sale at the event Join the ‘Stitch n’ Bitch’ network from Cork City at the Temperance Hall for a cup of tea, a bit of a chat and, of course, some knitting. If you have kids, it’s something you can do as a family. And if you are up for it, you could also indulge in the latest – and very fun – craze to hit the streets ‘guerrilla knitting‘.

If you are also a knitter or crafty person looking to read more about knitting, yarn shops, and flexing creative muscles when traveling the world (or just staying at home), visit my other blog, Spring Stitches. It is focused on my adventures in knitting, sewing, crafty things, and inspired upcycling. So if that’s also your cup of tea, hop on over!
