Sunshine and Scrabble

The weather is so beautiful this past weekend! It has invited us all to go out and enjoy the 40 shades of green in our local parks and beautiful shores of our coastline.

I have been told that it is simply not done to celebrate the weather because it changes as soon as the words leave your mouth, but I can’t help it. Besides, we need to announce the positives when they occur – particularly after last week’s article, Miserable Irish Among Worst In Europe For Sour Gripes. I honestly don’t think it’s truly complaining so much as noticing the bad for fear of jinxing the good. Or something like that.
