Bargain Matinee at the Cinema

Today, a few friends and I met up to enjoy the Gate Cinema’s Noon Rate Weekend Specialshowing of ‘New In Town‘. For just 3 Euros, we were able to watch Renée Zellweger’s Miami executive character act like a fish out of water in Minnesota and her interactions with Harry Connick, Jr. As a group of women, we were mostly there because of Mr. Connick. It was a toss-up (literally, we flipped a coin) between ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic‘ and ‘New In Town‘. We were weary of ‘Confessions’ since two of us had read at least one of the books (Sophie Kinsella) and worried the film may be a poor adaptation.

Enough about me. What are you thinking?
