This isn’t a play on the NY Times series titled 36 Hours in… but the actual time we spent on a stopover in Amsterdam on a recent trip back from the States.

Thanks so much for posting this – the timing is perfect. I’ve got a 12 hour layover in Amsterdam tomorrow!
I’ll definitely keep an eye out for an apple and Edam cheese pancake. Sounds delicious!

Aw I haven’t been to Amsterdam in years since my Dad moved away to Apeldoorn but I really want to go back now! You’ve shown me tons of stuff I didn’t know about :)

  3. [...] monster truck toy?!? I’m including a photo of its awesomeness so you can see for yourself. I’ve told you before how Triceratops is my nephew Q’s favorite of all the dinosaurs and he’s into trucks [...]

I returned from my first ever trip to The Netherlandswanting desperately to replicate those flavors in my own kitchen. A few years pass and I still didn’t have the courage to make Dutch pancakes based on just one restaurant’s meal that I ate. Fast forward to last month when we returned to Amsterdam for a quick 39-hour visit. [...]

Enough about me. What are you thinking?

It's not easy being green.

Ok, Tuesday, I'm ready for you!

Starting the day with the right nourishment. My #BakeKnitSew book goes to the printer today!

I don't like photos of feet. But this one turned out rather nice.
