Hokie Territory

I have taken a few days to be away from city life in D.C. and am visiting friends in Blacksburg, Virginia. That’s Hokie territory for those of you who know and love Virginia Tech. It is a quaint town and retains its sweet charm even with a large university gracing its land. I’ll admit I love seeing the farms in the surrounding neighborhoods and enjoy the lack of traffic.

We went shopping at the local mall and found their Gap to be an outlet with the most amazing deals! Definitely nice for me since I needed a few turtlenecks but simple and colorful basics are not as easy to find as you’d think. The ones I found are nice cotton knit and only $6.97 each! I refrained from looking at jeans hoping to find a pair on sale at J.Crew before going back to Ireland. Their 6T jeans fit me so well and last for ages. I have a pair I bought five years ago and they are holding up well and keeping their shape wonderfully.
