The Blizzards had a gig at Zavvi in Cork City Centre yesterday. I had not heard the band’s music before, but it was free and it’s always nice to hear something new. They played about six songs. The first two songs performed were probably old since there was some singing along. Most of the crowd was tweens and teens just out of school, which is why they’re dressed alike in their uniforms.
Definitely worth a listen and it may just make you feel like a teenager. Samples are available on The Blizzards’s MySpace page.
